Two strangers. Apparently so different but aiming in the same direction. They were connected by destiny…

„The mountain between us” is a story which made me again stop for a moment in the rush of everyday life. Wondering what would be my behavior in the face of the threat of life? Reflecting what kind of people I’m  meeting on my life way?  What is my fate? Can we find a friend, love, support in a stranger? Trust him enough to entrust him my life and fight for his life? How strong personality we have to had, trustfulness or just a strong instinct of survival?

The film is still holding in tension. And the views are breathtaking. Huge, strength and power of the landscape. The abyss of the mountain chasm. And everything covered by whiteness, so pure, glistening in the sun, up to the horizon of the azure sky. and in all of this – them. Energetic, spontaneous woman, a journalist with a sense of humor. And he – self-possessed neurosurgeon, secretive, strong man whose eyes are hiding mystery. A mystery, which so desperately she wants to discover, to to know better the man, who probably she can die with.

The story about survival and crossing borders in a struggle for life, interwoven with a story of romance.

A pair of actors perfectly matched to the played roles. In every interview you can feel lightness, friendly relationships and understanding of characters, and even similar sense of humor. All of it you can see to the screen, and made that I watched the movie with concentration, frightened, delight, reverie, with a smile on my face, a tear in my eye … If movie aroused so many emotions in me during the 2-hour of watching , it is definitely worth watching. I recommend to everyone who aren’t ashamed of emotions.

Anyway… it is funny how our life is one big coincident. Or maybe not?! Maybe it just seems to be controlled by accidents? Maybe everything has been already planned? Maybe … in our daily weakness we can still find the strength in ourselves? Strength to help the other person. Maybe this is exactly all about. To fight. Never give up and … live.

Dwoje obcych sobie ludzi. Z pozoru tak różnych, lecz zmierzających w tym samym kierunku. Połączyło ich przeznaczenie…

„The mountain between us” to opowieść, która sprawiła, że kolejny raz zatrzymałam się na moment w pędzie codziennego dnia. Zastanawiając się jakie byłoby moje zachowanie w obliczu zagrożenia życia? Zastanawiając się jakich ludzi spotykam na swojej drodze? Jaki jest mój los? Czy w obcym człowieku możemy odnaleźć przyjaciela, miłość, oparcie? Zaufać mu na tyle, by powierzyć mu swoje życie i zawalczyć o jego? Jak silną trzeba mieć osobowość, ufność, a może po prostu silny instynkt przetrwania?

Film dodatkowo trzyma w napięciu. A widoki zapierają dech. Ogrom, siła i potęga krajobrazu. Otchłań górskich przepaści. A wszystko pokryte bielą, tak czystą, połyskującą w słońcu, aż po horyzont lazurowego nieba. A w tym wszystkim oni. Kobieta energiczna, żywiołowa, dziennikarka z poczuciem humoru. I on – opanowany neurochirurg, skryty, silny mężczyzna, którego oczy kryją tajemnicę. Tajemnicę, którą tak bardzo chce odkryć, by poznać człowieka, z którym być może przyszło jej zginąć.

Opowieść o przetrwaniu i  przekraczaniu granic w walce o życie, przeplatana wątkiem romansu.

Para aktorów idealnie dobrana do odgrywanych ról. W każdym wywiadzie z aktorami da się odczuć lekkość, przyjacielskie stosunki i porozumienie charakterów, a nawet podobne poczucie humoru. To wszystko przełożyło się na ekran i sprawiło, że oglądałam film ze skupieniem, przerażeniem, zachwytem, zadumą, uśmiechem na twarzy, łzą w oku… Skoro wzbudził on we mnie tyle emocji podczas 2-godzinnego seansu zdecydowanie warto go obejrzeć. Polecam wszystkim, którzy nie wstydzą się wzruszeń.

Ponadto… zabawne jak nasze życie jest jednym, wielkim zbiegiem okoliczności. A może nie?! Może tylko nam się wydaje, że życiem rządzi przypadek? Może wszystko zostało już wcześniej zaplanowane? Może… w tej naszej codziennej słabości potrafimy jednak odnaleźć w sobie siłę? Siłę, by pomóc drugiej osobie. Może oto w tym wszystkim chodzi. By walczyć. Nie poddawać się i… żyć.
